THE "MAGGIO"

The picturesque village of Gragnanella is center of representations of "Maggio" that they are generally held in the summer period (July). The song of the "Maggio" it is an expression of popular theater type dramatic, that draws its remote origins from the rural rites celebrated in spring to propitiate the fertility of the earth.
